Workshop - Flowers & Film
PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS - Sunday, August 30
Flowers on Film: Holga Class for Beginners
Join photographer, Shannon Grant, for a film photography class with a playful twist. Learn how to roll film, choose settings, and create dreamy, lo-fi images on a Holga, a popular toy camera. See some examples in the gallery below. These inexpensive cameras are worth their weight in gold!
We begin with classroom instruction to go over the basics, then practice hands-on while meandering through the magic that is dahlia season at Bell Brook Farm. You’ll leave with an understanding of how to use the Holga, take one-of-a-kind images, and connect with like-minded people for a day of frivolity and fun amidst the flowers.
Details: Bring your Holga — we’ll supply the rest! Each ticket includes 1 roll of color film, shipping, and processing. Rental cameras and additional rolls of film are available, email Shannon directly to facilitate.
