Dinner/Workshop - Large Scale Installation Design with Semia Dunne
Installation Design Intensive & Dinner at Bell Brook Farm
with Semia Dunne of Flowers By Semia
Wednesday September 16, 2026
At Bell Brook Farm, West Brookfield, MA
Join us for a design intensive on large-scale installation work and learn the techniques behind Semia’s meandering meadow installations and statement floral pieces. We’ll construct a floral pathway that leads to a fireside dinner we’ll enjoy together.
We’ll create wild, unhinged floral expressions in the field with no restraint, and no rules, and then we’ll enjoy it together with full bellies, and fuller hearts.
Led by Semia Dunne of Flowers by Semia, this workshop will be a practice in connecting a design concept to the season, the space, and the individuality of the event. You’ll learn to work with unexpected elements and reach outside your comfort zone to create naturalistic and luxuriously abundant designs that are closely inspired by the farm that will surround us. Semia will share her approach to conceptualizing and executing large scale installation work.
Following the workshop, we’ll dine together fireside under the summer sky. Chef Chris Ly, of Wooden Bar in Worcester, MA will scratch cook a September inspired dinner. Complimentary beverages provided by our hosts at Bell Brook.
Shannon Grant will capture our work with behind the scenes and in-progress shots for your portfolio use.
Schedule:
1:30pm - 2:00pm - Arrival, farm perusing, settling in
2:00pm - 5:30pm - Guided workshop and installation creation with Semia Dunne
